Bernat Blanket yarn is a super bulky 6 weight yarn that makes some of the softest blankets. While it is a thick yarn, the projects are surprisingly lightweight.
Half double crochet between the stitches is the perfect stitch to whip up a beautiful blanket in no time!
The stitch is fast and easy. It also creates a wonderful texture. This texture works especially well with bulky (chunky) yarn.

No border is needed, but fringe in the same color of each row would be cute!
I made mine to be a cover for the daybed in my guest room. It would also work great at the end of a queen size bed or for a nice, long throw on the sofa!
