Crochet Simple Coffee and Cream Plush Jumbo Yarn Blanket, 1 Row Repeat

This blanket is incredibly easy to make and works up quickly.

Due to the super soft, plush yarn, it’s a pleasure to make.

Bernat Blanket Extra Jumbo 7 weight yarn

Vintage White: 4 skeins

Mushroom: 4 skeins

15mm hook

Ch 73(or any even number plus 1 more chain at the end to make the blanket as long as you like)

Mine ended up 64” long and 54” wide

Row 1 (I prefer to use the back bumps from the chain row, but you don’t have to)

Sc in the back bump of the 2nd chain from the hook.

Dc in the next back bump.

Alternate sc then dc across.

Ch 1

Turn

Row 2

Sc in the dc (first stitch) from the previous row.

Dc in the sc (next stitch)

Alternate sc in the dc, dc in the sc across.

Ch 1

Turn

Repeat row 2

My pattern is:

Vintage white- 1 skein (not counting the first all sc row)

Mushroom- 2 skeins

Vintage white- 2 skeins

Mushroom- 2 skeins

Vintage white- 1 skein

When you end a row and don’t have enough to complete another row, finish off at that point.  Just make sure that each section ends being the same size.

I was going to add gray to the mix, but I really like the soft white with the neutral light brown.  Looks like coffee and cream to me!

What colors would you suggest? I hope you enjoy making this! It’s definitely my new favorite!
