Let’s get started!

Stitches used:

Double Crochet (dc)

Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)

Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc)

Chainless Double Crochet (sc, go in left loop of the sc, make another sc)

Chain any multiple of 4 plus 4 more chains at the end of your chain.

My favorite yarn: Bernat Forever Fleece, it’s so soft!

Row 1:

Dc into the back bump of the 3rd ch from the hook and in each back bump across. Turn

Row 2:

Make a chainless dc in the first stitch (make a sc, go in the left loop of the sc and make another sc.)

4 fpdc, 4 bpdc across, dc in the last stitch.

Rows 3, 4 and 5

Chainless dc in the first stitch. Go into each fpdc with a fpdc and each bpdc with another bpdc across. Dc in the last stitch.

Row 6:

Chainless dc in the first stitch. Now we reverse the stitches. For every fpdc, make it a bpdc.

For every bpdc, make it a fpdc across the row. Dc in the last stitch.

Row 7, 8 and 9

Fpdc in each fpdc, bpdc in each bpdc.

Repeat the pattern from rows 2-9 until it reaches your desired length.

I think you’ll love this stitch. I especially love it with chunky yarn!
