Crochet an Easy Plush Pink Pocket Scarf

Make this furry, warm pink pocket scarf in a few hours. Wear it during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, or any time!

If you prefer a more neutral pocket shawl, try this pattern.

 Materials needed:

2 skeins of Bernat Sheepy yarn super bulky 6 weight in Posh Pink

10mm crochet hook

Row 1:

13 Foundation half double crochet row (see video tutorial below)  This makes an 8” wide scarf.

Ch 1 turn.

Row 2:

Hdc in each stitch across, again, you have to feel for the stitch   (It will be “hole” between stitches) and you’ll need to make sure you count your stitches, 13 in each row.

Ch 1, turn.

Repeat Row 2 until your scarf reaches about 86”, more or less, depending on how long you like it.  I’m pretty tall and it’s great for me to put my hands in with the scarf flat or crossed over.  I did not wrap it around my neck, but it comes up like a collar around my neck.  It’s very warm and cushy

I pulled the ends up 8” for the pockets (make sure you have the pockets on the same side on each end) and sew the sides of the pockets with a simple whip stitch.

Flip the pockets right side out to hide any seams (though they disappear with this yarn) and you are finished!

Enjoy your plush pink pocket scarf!
